Ls7 cylinder head LSX part interchangeability
a couple of intake valve seats have cracked on my LS7 race engine and I’m looking to replace the head with the LSX-LS7 head, i know this has a thicker deck 0.625” v’s 0.400 but can anyone tell any other differences and whether the stock LS7 valves, springs and rockers will be a straight fit please ?
the current LSX-LS7 part no is 19419193 that replaced part nos 19354241 and 19329962, can anyone tell of the differences between each of these, the generic description is the same for 241 and 962? Both are described as
Tech SpecsFully CNC ported
- 6 bolt per cylinder bolt pattern
- LS7 style rectangle port design
- Assembled with 2.200" titaniun intake and 1.610" sodium filled exhaust valves
- 12 degree valve angle
- minimum 4.100" bore
- 70cc "as cast" combustion chambers
- Handles .650" lift
- Uses LS7 rocker arms and LS7 bolts
- Flows:
- 397 cfm @.700" intake
- 230 cfm @ .700" exhaust

Ummmm 🤔 it's 3 or 4 videos in the Thread...
He can still do any head as a Hired gun now working with BES......may even have a few programs...
Cost? $5k+
I'd just get a pair of FED 710's and Dave would get CID heads
