Are you running the gz 102 or 104 vacuum pump how do you like it? Or too early to tell.
The larger one, so I guess the 104. I spoke to GZ and this is what they recommended for the RPM I wanted to turn. It works great. Need a larger catch can than they offer with their kits, IMO. Tried it on the last car and it just spit oil out of the filter everytime I drove it.
I can't wait to see the videos of you ripping gears and handing out gaps with this setup. I'm also curious to see how you and Gap God stack up.
He got me pretty good last time we lined up but there was about 100whp difference between both cars. Hoping the power difference is much closer this time around. He actually helped me drop the motor in the car.
Not sure if you posted it here, but what you are thinking this thing will weigh in at with you in it? 2800lbs? You've got a lot taken out.. that power to weight is going to be killer

It should be right around 2900lbs with me in it. I'm not light @ 280lbs.

Looks like it will be closer to this, with me in it.
Badass. Car is going to punch well above its weight class at that weight. Well done.
Did some preliminary testing the other day. It looks promising. Been awhile since i've been behind the wheel in something "fast". Got scared during a 3rd gear pull and let out around 8000rpm. Fuel flow was still slowly climbing.

More like 123ish with my gearing. My tachometer doesn't read passed 7500, so it was more like afraid to keep pulling it in 3rd. Shifted to 4th at 8000 and held it for a second. Acceleration felt very strong for the conditions. Had timing pulled out of the whole map due to the subpar pump E85 in the tank.
Finally got it on the dyno yesterday. I was working the keyboard on this one.
Ended up putting down 757whp and 588wtq! Just a bit off the ultimate goal we had for the build, but solid numbers nonetheless. There was a few things I wanted to try that would have made a little more power but wasn’t able to. Time to dial it all in on the street.
