5.3 lc9 chevy avalanche upgrades !!
I have a chevy avalanche 2007 5.3L and i want to upgrade the standard power to 500++ WHP without installing a Supercharger or Turbos along with the AFM / DOD Delete.
Kindly suggest me about this and in pocket friendly manner i can purchase the parts.
Thank you.
You also mentioned keeping it "pocket friendly".
Choose ONE of the above. ONLY ONE.
If you want it to live, it will NOT be pocket friendly!

If you do it the N/A route you could be in it for something like $6k-$7k on a cam, headers, and a torque converter for something like a 50 horse gain if you’re not installing the parts.

To your stock engine, add a TVS1900 or 2300 on top along with a very mild blower cam and long tube headers. Your target is easily hit and you can keep excellent manners and fuel eco. Your 5.3L will feel like it gained 150 cubic inches when you step on it and it will drive like stock when you're not in the mood. Full boost available just past idle will make the fat girl feel 1500lbs lighter. You won't have to spin it to the moon and it won't feel sluggish as hell below 3500 rpm.
I've done several trucks with p/d blowers on top. It's the only way to go when you're trying to accelerate something that heavy. WAY cheaper and more reliable than trying to hit those numbers n/a. And your stock torque converter will be fine.
