Want to build a 388.
looking at purchasing a L96 or LY6 block.
Was looking at doing a 4.060 Bore x 3.75 Stroke Is there enough meat on the bone to take either block out to 4.060
if not, is there a production iron block that can go out that far?

A 6,2L engine has a 4.065 bore from the factory, and as most LS engines, has a 3.622 stroke. A 3.75 stroke really isn't worth the bother for a .128" increase in stroke.
Your combo would be 388.39 CI. A 6.2 is 376 CI, only 12 inches less, and are available in junkyards.

Agree 100%. Most any Gen4 6.0 iron block will go out to a 4.065 bore unless its just a mess.
