Sell all those expensive, fragile parts.
Pull a stock 200,000 mile motor out of a $500 rusted out pickup truck.
Stack an inexpensive mid size turbocharger on the exhaust manifold, Push 12 pounds of manifold pressure: Boom 600 horspower the easy way

Just need the right cam I would think...see 600+ LS3's doing it.

I'd call BTR for their recommendation. Maybe 23X/25X ?

Don't have any idea what the specs are on a BTR stage 4 cam. I HATE stages. One person's stage 2 is another person's stage 1. Better to learn cam specs, and what they mean. Most of us aren't going to run to Google and see what BTR stage 4 specs are, then run back here to give their opinion. Please post your cams specs, and we can go from there. Stages are for Broadway plays......

Which LS3 heads are you talking about? Ported oem LS3 heads? If so, it's going to be a disappointment. If you want big power in that combo, my #1 choice would be GPI Max 2.0 small bore LS7 heads followed by Brodix BR1 Cathedrals. If you want to stay LS3 architecture either Mast LS3 heads or Truck Flow 255's ported both work very well and will support 600+hp.

On my lsx454 I had ported ls3 heads, lsxr intake, 102mm throttle body , btr 239/254 cam, on 93 gas . It made 536rwhp

Went to mamo Tfs260 ls7 heads, mamo atomic intake, commotion 255/269 solid roller cam , on 93 gas it made 649rwhp
on e85 it made 683rwhp

The latest works I had mamo go his biggest on the heads, titanium valves, jesel keyway lifters, Mamo specced 258/272 solid roller cam on 93 gas it makes 671rwhp N/A on e85 it makes 707rwhp N/A

Ls3 heads are lazy, you’ll need a huge cam, and still won’t get 600

Better heads, great intake, big cam should get u there. Talk to Tony

I have the BTR Stage 4 LS3 in my Camaro. Stock heads, ported rod mod LS3 intake. Made 473 to the wheels. You're going to need a bigger cam to hit 600 with larger displacement, plus way better heads.

That's some sound advice right there..It's definetly going to need more compression a larger camshaft with better flowing heads and a lightweight driveline to get there NA.

My 01 car made 540 rwhp on 93 and some of the things that could have been done to reach 600 rwhp was to run a different fuel, lighter flywheel, an aluminum driveshaft and aluminum wheels.

My camshaft is a CamMotion 243/251 .661/.633 115+4

Big difference in $$$ between 600 flywheel and 600 rear wheel…not sure which the OP is pursuing here.

Cam is wrong regardless. That’s a forced induction split.

bigger cam. Ilike the Cam Motion King series like a 244/365-XA256/355-12+4. Custom would be the way to go.

Most importantly, get a high ram style and you'll make big HP and still have tq with the stroker. Imo, long runner stock alike intake are wrong for anything thats too modified or chasing a number.

Still don't know exhaust duration.....I ran a Cam Motion in my LS7, ground to Alan Futral's specs. 232°/250° duration, .603"/.608" lift, on a 112° LSA, so it was easier on the valvetrain. Worked until #7 exhaust lobe took a dump, 2nd CM cam that failed on that same #7 exhaust lobe. It was improper heat treat that caused the 2nd failure, and probably the first, too. I know, because I checked the lobe on our Rc tester. 32Rc isn't gonna cut it for hardness. Cam had plenty of low end and midrange, but remember, not apples to apples as my engine is a 427, though a 408 is pretty close......
