torque management on the ls2

torque management on the ls2 There was some mention of the increased torque management on the ls2's in the recent gmhtp. Cartek's vette went from 13.1 stock to 12.3 by deleting tm, adding a 160 stat and adjusting the fans. wow.
I went and looked at a GTO a few weeks ago, and while I didn't drive it, it certainly wouldn't power-brake. It was rpm limited at like 1200-1500 rpm. weird stuff.
So, does anyone have some good info on the TM on the new LS2 PCM??

I've heard the same thing... I dont drive with TC off much in my 05 GTO but I'd be willing to bet their is 'something' pulling power at odd times. The traction control is VERY agressive in snow, that I can tell you for sure... I had to turn it off to get it to spin the tires at all so I could shimmy my way up a hill a few weeks ago.
I also hear rumors that LS2edit isnt too far around the corner now. How ever true that is, dont ask me.

torque management is when the car bogs the motor while the transmission is shifting. traction control bogs the motor when the wheels start to spin.
i still havent figured out how to disable traction control in my car without having to spend money to do it.

It seems the M6's have a form of "torque managment" that 'lifts' the throttle when it feels you are too agressive with the power. I've heard you cant truely power shift due to this 'feature'.
