No. The LS7 port is a completely different shape.

will the LS7 heads bolt on a LS1?
I know the 3.9 bore vs the 4.125 bore will be a huge difference, but will they bolt on?

As I understand it, the head bolt pattern is the same, as are coolant passages, etc... however, the HUGE intake valve of the LS7 head wouldn't clear the 3.9" bore.

We were looking at this just the other day. The intake port is totaly different, and the intake bolt pattern is way off. However, the heads will bolt on to an LS1/LS6 block, but as Burnout said the coolant passages are different & no telling what you would run into with pistons.

Why would you want to put a LS1 intake on LS7 heads anyway......

i was thinking if maybe the kinsler ls1 individual throttle bodies would fit on the ls7. if the heads are similar in pattern then they should fit.

the ls7 water pasages are not different on the ls7 head. We have a new cylinder head that will bolt on a LS1 bore size with a smaller valve and bolts up to the ls7 intake manifold. The downside to the LS7 head is that it is light weight thin deck and a huge intake valve with a rather large port. AS far as the LS7 intake bolt pattern, it is more like the ls1 than the C5R, so the kinsler will not bolt right up.
