I pulled the 427 C5r motor out of my 2005 C6 Corvette on Friday. Over the weekend I transfered all the externals and am installing the 441 today.
It has AFR heads ported by WCCH and a .680 solid roller.
I'm hoping my LS2 Edit will get me close on the tune. There are not a lot of things to tweak in the idle area with the new Edit.
My LS2 motor was stroked to 4" and is going in a customers 97 Corvette later this week.
THe 427 is also going in another customer's car later this week.
I have 3 engine stands in the shop and all 3 have my own motors on them!
I hope to have my car running and tuned well enough to go to Bakersfield this Saturday fo the West Coast Corvette Challenge. I see a roll cage in my near future!

That's awesome. Do you plan to stay NA? I'm know that engine will make plenty power NA, I was just wondering if you're going to get crazier with it.

I'm currently waiting on a 415 ci LS2 myself. 4.005 by 4.125 stroke.
Looking forward to seeing your results. I think a full cage if in your future for sure!

Andy stop showing off.
Have pity on us minions and please get that clutch in so I can hear how it holds. I'll get back to you later next week. Thanks for all the tech time on the phone.
For the record in case anyone is sitting on the fence as to where to get a motor. I got a shortblock from Andy that was first rate and held up great. I am on the east coast and have a bunch of great shops here such as East Coast Supercharging, but Andy had a forged motor ready to go and time was an issue. I got the moter in record time and was back up and running.
Highly recommended.

You have issues. Unfortunately, I understand. Who is your shrink? Have fun with it, man. Should be easily north of 600 rwhp.

That 556rwhp thru an A4 is awesome. Even more so is the LSX intake,
you know for a fact intake flow is kept under 300CFM with the intake
manifold onto place.
With a single plane cab intake ported to heads, or custom sheetmetal jobbie, power can go up even over what you have now...

Ran 11.4x@126 on DR's at Famoso. Wifey ran 11.36@120 same day, and we have about 440hp, so figure about 500 effective HP.

It made 529 RWHP at 5600 RPM and then died. We have since figured out that when the MAF maxes out it defaults to the lowest number in the low MAF table.
Jayson at MTI was having the same problem. I told him to try this and he called back to say that fixed it. I've yet to try it on my own car.
I did go to the track, but had to short shift at 5500 RPM. I tried to sandbag and stay above 11.50 so as not to get thrown out. It still went 11.40s @ 127.
Time for a rollbar, I guess.
I'll put injectors in and change the MAF tables tomorrow and see what happens?
BTW the bore is 4.135 and stroke is 4.100.
The new clutch is awsome. Smooth as butter and is good for 700.
