What is the difference in gap between the flywheel and LS6 and LS7 PPs? And are the clutch disks the same thickness?

From Bearman over at LS7power.com:
"The LS7 pressure plate has a self adjusting feature that might be the reason for the gappage he is seeing. There are toothed fingers on the top surface that all need to have at least one tooth showing to be good. Tell him to not fiddle with the autoadjusters because if any of the fingers do not show at least one tooth, it is no good. Is he also using a LS7 clutch plate??? I do believe that the flywheels are interchangable. I will check with the LS7 DRE and ask him tomorrow."

If not, Why would I want to take the chance with this clucth if I can get a Spec Stage 3 (which I know will work) from a sponsor for $419.99?

Killer_Bluebird.. if it works it will be great since the clutch should be as easy to drive as stock and hold a decent amout of power whereas the Spec 3 is no where near stock driveablity (especially the clutch slippage I desire for my setup that a Spec 3 doesn't give me) compared to the LS2/6/7 clutch. IMO of course. Not to mention all the SPEC horror stories that keep popping up these days.
