LS7 clutch pics
The LS7 clutch increases clamping load by just upping everything (pressure and surface area) but it allows streetability by not reducing surface area and staying with a material that still slips for easy engagement. The increase is not much though. That clutch will not fare well with 500rwhp+. The other downside is weight. The flywheel option is the fidanza aluminum LS2 unit.
MAS280, Hows the drivability on the LS7 Z06 clutch??? We're dying here to know how it behaves... keep us updated please

Probably not what you had intended when you wanted to find a clutch with more bite. Hope you heal up quickly. As much as I want to know how this clutch works out, I also want to see how much you enjoy that rocketship of a car.

Ive been driving my clutch a little harder lately hoping to kill off whatever life is still remaining so that I too can swap to the new ls7 clucth. 85K miles but i just cant bring myself to replace a clutch that isnt slipping yet.

Thanks for the info..hope it all works out well for you..keep us posted
