Default Will a LS2 Intake fit on my LS6 engine

Does the LS2 intake use a 90mm throttal body? Will the intake bolt on my LS6 with a 90 mm electronic throttal for a Corvette? Is it plug and play , just bolt everything on and go, with some tuning changes. Is this an easy swap?
You guys have probably been over this many times, I'm new to LS2.
Thanks in advance for any input.

from what i read, that would probably decrease your power from your current ls6 intake.

But the LS2 takes a 90 mm throttal body??? Or is that all smoke and mirrors. LS6 uses a 80mm? I just measured the opening on my LS6, it is only 75mm. I like the idea of the plastic intake, it does not absorb the heat, it's flexible on top of the aluminum engine.
I would like a 90 mm throttal, how do I get there with a plastic intake.

keep your LS6 intake. Just because the LS2 uses a 90mm tb doesn't make it better. The only intake worth changing to is a FAST 90/90 setup.....

There are a bunch of little things you will need to make it work. Even though you will have a 90mm TB on the LS2 setup, you will still be - hp from your current setup. Why spend money and lose hp, just to say you have a 90mm TB. I've seen others on this site spend a lot of time and money to swap to the lower performing LS2 just to say "I have a 90mm TB". IMHO I don't understand the logic. If you like to bragg get the LS2. If you want performance stick with your LS6 or buy a fast 90/90.

April 2005 Hot Rod magazine tested the two manifolds on page 88, LS6 made 8 more hp and 16 lb. ft of torque than the LS2 manifold.

Just get your 80mm TB ported and polished. Why spend $1200 for a Fast 90mm setup w/TB to gain a few hp. That is, unless you are running more cubes than stock. That's when more airflow starts to really pay off.

So basically you'd lose about as much hp as if you swapped an LS1 intake on, only you would have a 90mm TB.

I think we were all kinda shocked when several people got the LS2 manifold working but they had much lower numbers. We all were telling them to look for a vacuum leak or something. We all were disapointed.
