No because of the camshaft position sensor and cam wheel are located at different areas. The LS1 wheel is in the rear and the LS2/LS7 is up front. Will not work.

You would think that GM woudl try and set these things up to all be interchangeable between LS type engines. For moddability and to save there buyers some money, so they will keep buying from them. I would if it was possible.

You can use them as long as you change the front cover, cam sensor, extend the cam sensor wire and swap a and c on the connector. No to big of a deal.

Yup, and a sponsor or two sell a cable that extends the sensor wire and swaps the wires at the same time.. Nice and simple.

why would you want to go through all that though? There are so many different cams ground for the LS1 not to mention custom cams theres really no point in it...

A cheater cam is real close in spec's and you don't have to use 1.8x rockers IIRC.
