402: What Rockers?
I would appriciate any help on selecting quality shaft mounted rocker arms for the 402...not budget but not 1300+ Jesels either!
We want to spin it up to 7,000 safely and reliably. Here is the beast:
TTP LS2 402 stroker, all forged, Callies crank, V.3 Equalizer cam around 234/238 on 112LSA .600 lift, PRC stage 3 6.0 heads with PRC double springs good to .650 lift, 11.2-1 comp., want to shift around 7,000, Kooks 1 3/4 LTs &Y, QTP cutout, 42# injectors, Racetronix fuel, 4:10 Moser, etc. etc...
Daily Driver Camaro SS VERT (98% street N/A / 2% track N2O):
Thanks in advance!

Speedracer5532, I know they to sound awesome, but can't afford them (sux)
Yeah Damian, will do!
Hey Nate, those make sense, seem to have reduced inertial mass out on the tips. Will they rev?

It is more/less an upgrade to the fulcrum area... (I assume) hardened fulcrum shaft, upgraded needle bearings, and c-clips. Note that the GM rocker was noted for coming apart... as in spotted complaints of needle bearings showing up during oil changes. The GM rocker does not like sustained (drag racing) 7k+ RPM's... OBVIOUSLY depending on other valvetrain mods including rather large lift, durations on short LSA's, etc. You can call Chad at Xtreme and he can explain the differences... hell, maybe I can get an update to their website with pics soon enough

I went with the new RHS Elite 225 heads and they are the absolute sh**!
Intake side, they flow 276 CFM @ .400, 313CFM @.500 (my numbers) and 332CFM by .600 lift...plus an amazing 262CFM ex. @.600 too.
Best, Ram
