Default Big cubes?

what are some of the larger cube motors out there right now?
anything above 427, and what are some of the current prices for them?

seems like yesterday a 427 was big but now its just as common as anything else now a days!

that 500ci must cost you an arm, a leg plus your first born child
but i'm sure its well worth it, maybe!

the warhawk block will go to 481 with a 4.5inch crank. there are a few people running in the 440 on sleved LS1 + 2 blocks.

as for the motor using the deck plates, do a serach. it seams a little worng to start off with but i have seen LOTS of tunning companies using them to good effect! and alot with BIG boost!

also there are a few companies (dart i think are loking at it) that will build you a fully CNC'd block!!!! big bucks but then you can have whatever you want!

thanks Chris.

I remember when MTI's 455ci was huge...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ht=SAM+biggest

I also vaguely remember reading that SAM (school) is building a 500ci+ LSX but searches weren't giving me the right hits.

On Another Thread I Asked What The Max Stroke Is On A Warhawk Tall Deck Block And The Answer Was 5.00 Inch. If That Is True You Could Build A 531 Inch Ls Series Motor!!! Thats With A 4.125 Inch Bore!!!

With the ERL deck spacer and Warhawk block, you could build a 550 c.i. motor!

Warhawk block won't be out for a while. The deck plate blocks are expensive, require custom everything, and aren't really practicle for your normal consumer. The best thing the average guy can do right now is use the Darton 4.200 MID sleeve and get a Lunati or Callies 4.250 stroke crank for 471 cubes. I went a little smaller with the 4.150" dry sleeved LS2 block and a 4.185" Lunati crank for 454ci. Should be plenty for a weekend warrior.

ram09 and viewsonic,

There's lots of misinformation flying around the threads and I can't be everywhere.
NO 5.000" STROKE WILL FIT WARHAWK. We'll study 4.500" WHEN WE GET PRODUCTION-READY BLOCKS.

ORDERING it now and GETTING it now are two different things. You CAN order it now. Our webmaster implies it's "available now" but is slightly optimistic.
Please advise the link where 5.000" crank is discussed.

Threads or replies by WorldTech, Warhawk1 or myself are the most reliable and contain no speculation.

Ever get the feeling that no one reads you posts?

I think the max cube, dry-sump, cylinder head numbers, max stroke and availability have been answered at least 3 times in the last few months. When the search feature works, it's a real help.
