motor for FI...C6

Just testing water here...

If I wanted to build up my C6 to handle some boost ... no more than 10 psi. What would be my best options...not looking to spend a fortune, but dont want to go cheapo on the parts either.

Maybe a built 402/408.

i think blown application motors are around 3000 for a 346 and 5000 for a stroker (402 or 408) pm some places they will give you some ruff estimates. they are usually happy to talk to people when they have the time.

$4K plus or minus a couple of hundred bucks is the going rate nowdays on 402's with forged internals from a lot vendors..you should always check on the back ground of the people who you are thinking of doing biz with..get some references..or check with some people on here who have done biz with them...there was a real nasty situation on here a few months back with SLP concerning a 402 that blew with a few hundred miles on it..and I do not think that the outcome of it was ever posted..If I am wrong on this and anyone out there knows the disposition of this please let me know...anyway back to your question..customer service and how a vendor stands behind his work and his product is of the upmost importance..check around don't let the lowest price be the most important factor on where you do your biz..just my 2 cents..good luck to you sir..
