cheaper 427 if i wanted to build up an engine for my F-body would i be better of going with an LS7...an aluminum 427 from sum1 like LS1 speed or a iron block 408....
how much would these cost installed...how hard would they be to install myself??

If it is based on the L92 block, which the bore is 4.06, then that means that the crank would have to be 4.125 to make 427 cubes. That would be the only way to do it without resleeving a L92, LS1, LS2 block.....unless they use the LS7 block which would defeat the 'budget' part so the LS7 block is out of the question.

Ah, I see, that is good I didn't think the 4.125 crank with 4.06 bore would work too well and would probably require custom pistons.......since its going to be a resleeved block i was wondering, if i could ask, approximately how budget it is going to be?

$7k for a short block doesn't sound like much of a "Budget" 
How is that cheaper than using a LS7 block?
For most people, including myself, using the term "Budget 427" means the least expensive way to get 427 cubes.
I guess my only concern is the vauge use of the word 'budget'.

by budget they mean less then 12,000..... in otherwords, budget for the guys with huge budgets.. not budget as it refers to 95% of the people on this website.
for a normal engine builder, id expect a budget motor to have the price start with a 4... maybe a 5 if its using thoes cranks and rods.. but still, id expect it cheaper.
