Glad to see this thread still going. The day I saw the pics of the CNC Stage 2 WCCH heads, is when I sent my L92's to Rich for the same treatment! Can't wait to see how Ed makes out this round!
Here is a little taste of a WCCH intake port!

Time to bring it back.
This round of mods. Call it plan C?? We'll let Kevin decide.
This months round of mods
include a cam swap (go figure) springs, clutch pedestal inserts to quiet the dual disc down. Wideband wired into the PCM with narrow band output.
99+ PCM swap. Dont let no one fool ya on the complexity, or time it takes.
Cam swap is done. PCM swap is done. No to make it run. Hopefully dyno numbers tomorrow. I would think Saturday by the latest.

Never take anything for granted.
Case in point. Repinned the PCM connectors to the TEE. Was very careful labeling, swapping, double checking the whole way. Flashed the PCM with the 02 OS. Hit the key, and have all kinds of popping from the tail pipes. Just like crossed plug wires.
Recheck everything, all pins are where they are supposed to be.
Now, for the curve ball. This car has the coil relocation mod. Plugs wires were not disturbed.
So, break out the trusty old o-scope, set it to trigger off an injector pulse. Set channel 2 to trace the secondary ignition. This will give me a good view of when the coils are firing in relation to the injectors firing. I scope a good cylinder to get a base line.
Go to the passenger side, probe #2 injector and plug wire. The plug is firing at the same time the injector is spraying. NOT the way it was meant to be.
So, while still on #2 injector, I start probing the other plug wires, til I get one that is firing at the right time, in relation to the injector. Turns out its #8 coil.
Then on to #4, again the plug firing did not end up where it needed to be.
Long story short, I had to swap the 2 and 8 coil drivers, and 4 and 6. I imagine that the harness extender for the coil relocation is pinned wrong. When the car was built, they probably just swapped the plug wires. We will put the coil driver wires back where the need to be, and put plug wires on it. They are too short to stretch.
So, moral of the story, dont take anything for granted. When diagnosing a problem, step back and develop a game plan. This could have been a real *** beater.

I talked with Ed today. He was going to replace 3 of the stands in the RAM DD clutch with the new style composite type but found out that the studs are not studs but through bolts from the engine side and would require dropping the pan or dropping the torques tube back. I told him to hold off on that. The car is running and he's still tuning. The new plan is to pick it up Saturday so Ed has time and miles to perfect the tune - that's the whole purpose of the new PCM.
