Every time the power went up the dynamic airflow went up. In other words, there were no dyno tricks, or tuning secrets to make power, only dialing in the fuel to the requirements. We ended up at 13.0:1 A/F and 28 degrees timing. Normal for something like this. It was pretty cool. Every time the power went up, the airflow went up, and the vacuum went down. Well at least it started going down with the FAST and the modifications to it.

Neddless to say, EVERYONE involved is MORE than happy with the results. Now if we can just get it to make 535 at the wheels LOL J/K
Thanks for sharing the info Ed,

I know its a bigger motor and everyone runs these fat, But 13.0 gives good results with correct amount of timing. I can imagine you didn't have to work hard to obtain those numbers Shawn has made the job easy for u now get it in the car and strap it!

Wow, awesome job! I can't wait to see what it does at the wheels. Like what was mentioned, what a difference it makes when the builder spends the time getting things right.

Your running a 100mm MAF right? Do you think it made a significant contribution versus an 85 mm MAF?

Thanks. The builds have always eaten a lot of air. The MAF and the 4" downtube definitely help.

we picked up over 10hp going from a 90mm tb to a 107mm tb-so the 85mm tb would def be a restriction

Brilliant job Shawn. This is a perfect demonstration on intake system development. Looks like you've hit on a key mod for the FAST intakes. Well done sir!!

Ed, you da man!! Nice work on the tune sir!

Kevin, you've created a monster. That's crazy power from a mild build. All done by 6500 with a smooth idle and pump gas friendly. A less expensive wet sump LS7. Most of all, reliable.

Thanks for showing off the potential of of our Stage 3 heads.

Happy Cruising

Richard

Thanks for being an important part of this ongoing project the last couple of years Richard. The Stage 3 L92's are knockouts! Great power in this mild configuration and I can't imagine how they would perform with one of Carey's manifolds and a carb TB. 700+hp should be very doable.

Thanks again,

Kevin

I want to drive this bitch now. Remember that ED add that said "Erections lasting more than four hours need immediate attention"? Well I've had one for the last 30 hours. Ever since Shawn posted the final numbers.

Was it accompanied by a loss of vision, and hearing? Hmm, blind, deaf, and with a 30 hour boner. If that happened to me, Susan would hold me hostage LOL
