Thats right. Drives like a dream. Low speed/lowRPM is unbelievable. Crack the throttle and its

The combination of what came out of this build is nothing short of amazing. Sorry to sound like I'm pounding on my chest, as this was a collaborative effort between several people. We merely turned the wrenches, and ran the dyno, did the testing. I can take the credit for tuning it and improving the driveability and mileage.

What makes this build so amazing is that rarely does an increase in performance come hand in hand with IMPROVED driveability and IMPROVED mileage. You have to remember we DECREASED the compression and we DECREASED the amount of camshaft. Yet we INCREASED the overall power output without DECREASING the lowend torque.

I am more than thilled about the results. I'm appeciative to Kevin for allowing us the oppertunity to be involved in this.

This from a post by ALOHAC5 (MIke) on CF. I let him drive the car yesterday.

"Kevin has one sweet 500 RWHP NA sleeper! The performance of his car is best described as a "wolf in sheeps clothing". Kevin allowed me to drive his new BEAST and I couldn't believe the slow speed manners given its high horsepower and torque while at low RPMs in high gear - it's like stock - and when you step on it, all hell breaks loose since the performance exceeds that of a new C6 ZO6! Sounds great and the throttle response is immediate.

Kevin took the time to research and come up with the right combination with a team of skilled vendors/engineers to obtain the optimum performance results with the WCCH Stage 2 L92 heads/intake, etc. Ed is an exceptional tuner! He takes the time to answer any quesions and provide sound advice. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Fairfax, VA.

I enjoyed the cruise there and back - the weather was great - and it was good to finally meet several forum members in person after exchanging messages and PMs over the forum for the past couple years. Ed - thanks for the pizza and soda. Kevin - I enjoyed the ride down to Ed's shop, and thanks for the dyno run. We'll see if we can get another Dyno/Tune Day organized soon.

There you go!.

Congrats, WKMCD!!!

I sure hope that my build comes out like yours has. I am looking for complete drivability like your setup has. I did a ton of homework before selecting the parts.

Enjoy your new power!

If thats what you're building, your "in the works", you should be real happy with that. The cam #s say it will be very modest.

That's a nice cam

Yes the "In the works" is what I am doing. It should be in a truck on the way from SDPC to me right now!

It idles at 850 and the shake is not bad at all. You can tell it's got a cam in it but the ***** aren't falling off the dash.

It lopes pretty nice. Thats the real kicker. Its got enough cam in it to sound like its got a cam, but it drives like it doesnt.
You know what some of the guys on here say, "Its all in the tune"
This cam was easier to tune than the first one. I dont know if I could have ever made that one drive this nice.
And from what Kevin was saying the gas mileage has shot up to boot.

I just road in this car...

Of all the rides I have been in this is absolutely the most mechanically quiet. I simply don't understand it, 13 degrees overlap and the steering wheel was not shaking at all at idle. You hear the car from the exhaust, not from under the hood...

Throttle response was brutal and rolling through 3rd gear flat puts your *** in the seat.

I was one of the original skeptics from earlier posts and I am not afraid to admit I am now eating crow about this.

Absolutely the most civilized 500rwhp I have ever experienced... Props to all those involved
