I am going to fly out and we will try 3 Comp Cams camshafts and 3 of my own camshafts from my company for some R&D work with the ETP casting/RHS CNC heads.

I am really interested in this thread now due to my current engine build. I am putting together a 14:1 408 with an "alternative" fuel with ported L92 heads and L76 intake and a ptm 90mm TB, Truck coil packs, pacesetter headders 1 7/8"-2" with true duals. The first POSSIBLE cam choice based on very initial flow numbers(though the heads still need to be worked more) are as follows: 257/266 .646/.622 on a 113+4 lobe with caddy ctsv racing lifters. Please dont ask about my fuel yet as i have LOTS of friends on here dying to know what I have cooking. LOL I havent even begun to speculate as to my power #'s yet but I suspect pretty high NA which is exactly what we are shooting for. I just wanna be one of the guys NOT running a power adder that can still run with the best of em. Lets just say that my car is on a pretty good diet while remaining streetable as it is my daily driver. It should weigh in under 3400 for sure but probably less. Any thoughts guy's???

big n/a power, and daily driver aren't a real pratical thing IMO, but the plans sound good.
Not sure what you have planned for a fuel, but if it's a race gas, you aren't gonna be driving that every day unless you like spendign 500 a week on gas, just to go back and forth to work. My 402 with the th400 and 4.10's will go thru 50 bucks of 104 unleaded in one round trip to work (26 miles one way) and I get the 104 for about 6.50 a gallon... so do the math.

We just made 515rwhp with a L92 topend and 402 LS2 bottom. Peaked out real early so a cam change will make more.. Hey it was my first! And all we did was blend the bowls. Total cost was $8000
We also just had a 402 w/ AFR 225's just tip the scale at 544rwhp with a 242/250 cam. Cost just under $9000.
Both are under 11.5:1 compression.

There is a website with more info, run e85 dot com. What he has is do-able but may limit him to e85, if that's his juice of choice.

Cartek built my 408 as a nitrous motor but I took off the nitrous. Not sure of my cam specs but I know it's a 600 lift and 11:8:1 cr.
I made 466 rwhp unlocked through a th350, 12 bolt, 4:10's and slicks on 104 octane.
The car weighs 3350 with me in it and I've run a best of 10.25@129. I've also hit a best short time of 1.32 and have been running consistently in the lower 1.3's.
I drive this on the street regularly and have not had the valve covers off in 2 years.
I love this motor

Wow, this thread has turned into being quite an entertaining one at that!
I decided to take a pass on the motor I referenced here after many long hours of soul searching, b/c the compression (primarily dynamic) is too high for my own peace of mind for a street motor (that will only see limitied track use).
I am now talking with LME and Canadian Perf. about building me a Trick FLow headed 416 L92 motor and even possibly a 430 CID Trick Flow headed LS7 motor (the engine i really want but exceeds what i want to spend). Either motor would have 11:7 to 1 compression with a dynamic compression of 8:6 to 1, and should make 550rwhp in my C5 Z06 with pump gas, a ported fast 90 and a nice cam in the range of a 244/250, on a 112 lsa!
If i don't pull the trigger will just keep my current blown LS6 motor for another year and this time next year build a 600rwhp, 482 CID LSX motor!
