You realli think thats enough spring to deflect these pushrods?
My springs are only about 5% stiffer than yours and I am running 3/8 .110 wall rods and I wish they were bigger. I am not saying they are your only problem, but they are not helping matters any if you know what I mean

Yes, the 5/16" pushrods are inadequate for your app. A set of 3/8" x .080" wall pushrods will work wonders as will modifying the rockers w/ the Harland Sharp bearing and trunion upgrade. With these parts (along with an unspecified beehive spring) I have been able to spin my stock eliminator engines to 8200+ without valve float.

Ok i tried to find a beehive design to fix my problem but they all need around 2"inst. height and that means longer heavier custom valves which in my opinion is counter productive, can you PM me spring info? Titanium custom valves and corresponding Jesel shaft system are out of my current budget.I wouldnt care about being able to turn 7k+ rpm but my power peaked at 6900.
HELP?

She was dead quiet to 7K. Erik from HKE(he assembled the motor) said he doubted I would ever float them.

I am running ls7 heads with TI valves though, so this is not an apples to apples comparison, but stiffer pushrods are ALWAYS a good thing.

I am not sure on the seat pressures, but open is ~ 515.

I can't tell you what springs they are, not because I don't know, but because they are an experimental set. So far so good though.
