Hi Tech just purchased a LS-7 intake to try with this combo. Should have more results by Monday.. Hopes are that the intake makes the power of the sheetmetal and the torque of the L-76 intake.

Trail 70 so when are we planning to put the motor back in the car. My time is limited, when do want me to come over and put it back in your car for you. Make sure you get that hanes manual. Oh by the way if you want you car to go faster try a body weight reduction. (not the car)

I'm a tech for Honda during the week and it's hard to get motivated to work on cars on the weekend. I should get off my lazy *** and finish it in the next couple weeks. I will have 2 different chassis dyno numbers..

Do you believe the stainless screws really work well as an anchor, or did you just do it thinking "eh, shouldn't hurt". Thanks.

My bad.....
2002 6.0 liter, going to L92 heads. I'm putting this into a truck, so hood clearance isn't a problem, just wondering should I purchase a L76 intake.
Here, I'll start a new thread, not hyjacking......

The engine used the intake that was on it, after I cut it apart and modified it. We also modified an L-76 intake for the test. I would like to see what an LS-7 intake would do on this motor as well.
The engine made peak power with the sheet metal intake at 6900 RPM with peak torque at 5300 RPM. With the L-76 intake, peaks occured at 6300 and 4900 RPM respectively.

I am a avid user of epoxy to allow port sizing and shape changes, surface prep(cleaning) is #1 key to success and reliable epoxy use.
I am extremeli interested in what your #'s were above 6900 cause mi L92 402"
goes into seat bounce hysterics at 7000 rpm with similar sized Comp hydraulic roller and #26921 springs. I run a GMPP carbed intake and mi peak power is at 6900 so i have no room to shift past peak(a real problem with TH400 auto)
What valves and springs does this set up have and how high does it rev cleanly? TIA
