Very nice project & good result
why you don't try bigger injectors .
I think the 60lb injectors will be perfect with your engine .

Thumbs up

Thanks for posting! Good numbers.

I think you have more left in there, If I'm looking at the graphs right, your still a little on the rich side.

Just a suggestion, Drive it for a while to get 500 miles on it, change oil, put it back on the dyno and get that Air/fuel to around 12.7-12.9 for that 610+ RWHP.

I'm sure your tires are going to hate you now... lol...

Damn nice numbers, great job!

Curious though, what RPM did the engine make peak HP?

Peak HP was at 6,600RPM. But the engine wasn't finished being tuned at the time of the graphs shown. A new electric water pump is being installed right now and the MAF is being removed because it is choking the engine. We expect new numbers next week and they will climb higher than the previous numbers.

The gears in the rear are 3.73's in a Moser 12 Bolt.

This car is truly a beast. Should have some new dyno numbers at the end of week.

Torque exceeds 500 Ft. Lbs at 3,600 RPM and peaks at 4,800 RPM, staying steady until 5,500 RPM.

The Horsepower is very broad and climbs in a full arc, meaning it is there at all RPM.

With the electric water pump and without the MAF, the engine should be good for 610+ HP.

No nitrous pulls were made, but we have a twin stage system onboard incase it's necessary....

First let me say, BEAUTIFUL car, and very nicely done! Congrats!

Couple of quick questions.... why does the dyno shop use std correction instead of SAE? Std numbers are higher... but don't indicate real world conditions. Second, I see smoothing on 5. I would request you see the numbers with no smoothing on whatsoever, this will give you a much better idea on what state of tune the car is in. Mine looks like smothing on 5 when on 0! If the curve is choppy... there is more tuning to be done! What RPM was the first Dyno run to?

BTW the car sounds BAD ***!

You're actually making about 570rwhp/540rwtq since your dyno graph was corrected using STD correction factor, which inflates your numbers by about 4% over the industry standard SAE correction factor.

This week the MAF is being removed and the inlet plumbing re-ducted. Also an electric water pump is being installed. This completes the mods to the 454.

New SAE corrected dyno charts will be posted following final tuning. The numbers previously posted were after only several pulls and very little tuning.

Stay tuned....

Running smoothing on 0 is pointless for tuning purposes. It shows to many graph spikes. And being that most guys on this forum disect a graph by 1-2hp, it wouldnt be logical. You cant tell SQUAT about a tune based on the difference between 0-5. Cause all it does is average between 2 VERY small points.
