The 10296 is the better pump IMO, its a High volume + high pressure with the optional spring. The 10295 I believe is just high pressure, no extra volume.

In order to increase the pressure , you'd have to increase the volume .

Please explain? the 10296 flows 18% more than the 10295 which has the same volume as stock.

Dan , just think about it . How would you increase the pressure of the oil without changing anything but oil flow ?

There is some sort of pressure by pass in the pump, different springs allow higher pressure with same volume, hell idk. I know you can flow the same volume with different pressures by by changing the outlet size, but I won't pretend I know this is how it works .

Melling lists them different, one as high pressure, the other as high volume/high pressure, so whatever that means.
