Default 427 Engine Swap *pics*

The build is in its final stages, so I thought I'd share the process as it goes.

looks good but my question is why would you weld your headers, to the duals? would it not been better to band clamp or add flanges? also thats the first time ive seen o2 sensors so far back on the collectors, i bet it will make great power

yes, but there was no room for clamps and flanges. It was a custom dual setup w/cats. I recently took the cats off though.

The entire rotating assembly is fully balanced now. Assembly is going on right now and should be done on schedule!

The pistons are absolutely stunning. They have extra support behind the piston skirts and are fully polished for smoother operation and longer life. As Kyle (my engine builder) put it, there isn't a finer set of pistons on the market. They also have a black section on each skirt, with a polished W etched into the surface (W for Wiseco) VERY cool looking. I'll have pics tomorrow. These are the very FIRST set of these pistons made, production #1. Currently no one else has these pistons as they haven't hit official production yet. So it was pretty cool to get them.

Thats sweet! Being the first to do/have anything these days for a 4th gen is cool. You will have to share the results and how it runs for sure
