weather forecast
THIS WEEK from bowling green, ky.
A cold front this weekend ushered in much cooler air to the area. Now, we are under the influence of both the cold front and Tropical Depression Lee. Lee is tracked to move right over Kentucky as a non-tropical storm, so heavy rain is expected all week long. Skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be in the low to mid 70s for the first half of the week. Later this week, a bit more sun will peek through the clouds and highs will return back into the low 80s, which is still below average for this time of year. the forecast for fridaythru sunday is highs in the lower 80 lows around 60.. this is from the weather forecast from bowling green..

Your quote looks better then what I have read. I know of some people that have backed out. It would be to much money and time to risk driving 15 hours to be rained out. More or less, we would need to roll the dice and hope for the best. If we go by your forecast, it is looking good. If you go to weather.com, they have it listed for 30% isolated thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday. On Sunday there is a 40%-60% chance of thunderstorms.
I know for myself, towing a 16,000+ lbs trailer at 10 to 12 mpg for almost 900 miles will put a large dent in my pocket. That is not including food, tolls and so on......
I am still on the fence, the % appears to be changing daily.
Oh well, I will keep an eye on the weather channel.

I really think the weather will hold off, it should be moving out by Thursday. This is my independent, racer wishful forecast.
They didnt call for rain here in nashville at all last weekend and it rained a few times, and has been raining nonstop for two days. They were not calling for rain this coming weekend until today. I'm definately going even if its raining when I pull out of the driveway, I'm not missing it!
BTW it rained a couple times last year and the event was still successful. cross your fingers!
