you dont necessarily need gears with a stall. im doing a 4k yank with my 2.73s, and im not planning on changing them yet, but sounds great. also, looks like you were doing a little more then 20

Lol Thanks bro. WOW 4k? Hows that on a stock rear-end? and Yeah I just figured I needed gears because i have a Lag from 2nd to 3rd gear. It hits the rev limiter when I race.

And you dont need to do heads with a cam 
Op: It all depends on what you are doing with the car and your tolerance for driveability. A nice all around setup for yank an ss3600 with 3.73's. A more max effort setup would be like a ss4000-pt4400 with a 4.10-4.56 gear. They have some video's on the forum to view to help aid in your choice, do a search.
