Default Back in the F body game

I just picked up this 2002 SS about 3 weeks ago. I have been out of the game for about 10 years from my last Camaro. I had a 2010 which I ordered new when they were allowing pre-orders in 2009. Before that I had a 2000 NBM SS. I sold both because of financial reasons. I am finally at a point in which I can get something without being afraid that I'm going to need to sell it because I need the money.

I have always wanted a SOM since they came out in '01. My wife is not a big fan of the color, but its my car and not hers. 😂 I was looking for a stock car so I could modify myself because thats most of the fun, but this was to good of a deal to pass up.

Nice! Welcome back, I just returned after a similar lay-off as well lol.

Any more details about the car? Motor/drivetrain etc?

This is everything that was done to it when i purchased it.
9" w/4.30 gear and spool
T56 magnum
PRC 227 62cc heads
T-Rex cam
Fast 92
92mm TB
QTP 1 7/8 headers
Kooks true dual exhaust
UMI and BMR suspension
MGW shifter

Since this is a street car the cam is a little to big for my liking. Changing that to an Ed Curtis Hellraiser. Also it has stock injectors so doing some 48lb and an underdrive pulley. Getting rid of the spool and swapping in a truetrac as well. Only had 51k on it and clean inside and out.

Beautiful car! Very similar to my last SOM SS I had. Loved the Trex cam but I pretty much built my car around that cam. I should've just went procharger but I was sucked into the sound of that cam.
