Default Noob, non LS1 owner too

Well i finally decided to become a member after lurking for like 3 months. I dont currently own a LS1, but would like to in a around 2 years after i graduate college get a real job ect.... My uncle owns a 99 Z28 and I'm "hopeing" he will sell it to me. I guess we will see. Anyway if anyone needs any info on ford rangers, explorers, and v-6 mustangs feel free to ask. This is by far the coolest forum I've ever belonged to. Thanks for all the great info and kick *** videos produced by the site and members of the site.

Welcome to the site man. 99 camaro would be a nice car to pick up.

I guess they will let you in, owning a (rump) ranger and all.

Yea I thought so too, I just hope he still has it in a year or two. And the ranger.... well its not been a bad first truck, its just a little lacking in the performance department. 17.185@78MPH Before the big tires.

Yeah the LS1 will fit into alot of places. RX7's seem to love them I've seen one in a rear engined Porsche too. The LS1 is a very, VERY physically small package. You can pretty much put one wherever you want. It's takes a little work, but enterprising individuals seem to "get'er done"

interesting, I may have to look into that. Although I can imagine it won't be cheap, so I'll be waiting like 2 years to do that one too.

I used to own a ranger (97' I think it was) had a Mitsubishi engine if I recall correctly. Anyhow, I do not know if you would want to do the engine swap in the Ranger if you could go cheaper with the Z...

Anyhow, welcome aboard
