Welcome
Hi I just went from a 95 Z28 to a 99 z28 and the LS1 is much better.
My LT1 is off the road at the moment for an engine rebuild, I ran a 13.89 with some B/O mods, but this LS1 feels faster already seat of the pants.
You will love the LS1

I love the upgrade too, went from an '89 Firebird 2.8MPFi to the LS1 in a 2000 Trans-Am, I did notice a differance I now scare myself driving to work, gets me heart going for the only excercise its going to get.

Welcome...
I went from a 95' LT1 Trans Am convertible to a 99' Trans Am LS1. Couldnt be happier. I love the LS1. Just wish I bought one with an M6.
But you know what they say. You cant out shift an auto. Well I hope thats true anyways.
Oh well. Beggers can't be choosers.
