LS1 fan, stang driver, its all good lol hey guys, im a noob to LS1 tech forums. im a huge fan of the Camaro, Trans am, everything chevy, GM, etc. and yes i bow down to the superiority of the LS1. as my circumstances turned out, i got an 05 mustang GT M5. im only 17 years old, and yes i feel like hot **** driving it haha. i worked 2 1/2 years to pay for this car, plus what im paying now.
my parents wanted me to get a new car, so i couldn't get a camaro/trans am. oh well lol. can't say im dissapointed in what i got
yes, my stang can keep up with an LS1, but barely if at all. im not here to say my stang is better than GM cars. im a fan of all cars, not really into the brand loyalty thing.
anyway, 1st post, thought id just introduce myself a little.

i walked one of those things a while ago with 140k miles on the clock. get you an ls1 and tell your parents it just came out. hahaha j/k....but seriously i did. .. . . .

Please one thing about the 'Stang though... don't put those stick on louvers on the little windows above the quarter panel.

Im in the same boat as you....kinda. I now have a 95 GT conv. 5spd. Still love the F-Body car and always will. I only get to drive the 06 Mustangs at work tho. Parking lot fun and gas runs!
