Default New to board, from South Jersey

Hey guys, I'm new to LS1 Tech, but have been on ThirdGen.org before. I just picked up an 02 Trans Am. She's pretty, her name is AMy, yeah I know, how origional.

She's got a few glitches. I'm throw'n a code 430, yes I looked it up, thanks guys, no leaks, and wires look ok, so I'll be calling a dealership inquiring about the cat warranty. Someone also took out the stock 2.73's and put in 3.42's. So I'll hang on to the 3.42's for when I get around to upgrading to the T-56, but for now, I'm gonna get the 2.73's put back in, cause my spedo is WAAAAAAY off, and I plan on doin a lot of highway driving, and gas is high Also, there's a nifty lil gadget on the exaust, a lil before the muffler, looks like they had some kinda bypass there or something, idk, I'll take a pic next time I have her up. Oh, this one is the greatest, they actually installed a, yes, I'm not lying, a full blood trailer hitch, yee-freak'n haw. I think I might hang a pair of chrome cow ********* from it or something, lmfao.

Just a thought, if you like the performance of the 3.42 gear, the speedometer calibration is an easy fix. The Hypertech Power Programmer III would do the trick, however just about any performance shop should have the programmer required to fix it and it should cost a heck of a lot less than another gear swap!

I don't really like the 3.42's. Yeah I know, everybody else here probably wants them, lol, but I'm gonna hold onto them once I swap them, incase I install the t-56. And like I said, with gas prices the way they are, yeah, I want the 2.73's back, lol. If it was a weekend, or track car, it would be a different story, but this is my daily driver, and I'm taking it to Orlando, FL from NJ this summer, so the gears will just about pay for themselves, after that much driving, lol. Besides, Those 3.42's will do better off the line, but with the 2.73's I'll take you on the highway, where it's not just a 1/4 mile, lol. (I'm kidding officer!) I don't need any more tickets.

I uploaded a lot of pics of AMy, on a Yahoo! Customs profile that I made for her. So if you guys wanna check her out here's the addy: http://custom.autos.yahoo.com/galler...bvNwpyc.VC.ckF
