TSP=ripoff Was looking to order some headers and I notice TSP
decides its going to charge state sales tax on interstate
commerce. I don't live in Texas, you can't charge me tax.
I won't order from them on general prinicple now,
greed losses you a sale.
Now maybe their site in ancient and if I went through with
the order it wouldn't have been charged but I'm not finding
out the hard way when there are alot of honest venders out
there who wouldn't try to scheme you in the name of giving $ to
the goverment. That's like saying please donate to something while
pocketing the money. That's NO class TSP. I won't stand for it.
As far as I'm concerned you shouldn't be a sponser here anymore.

Until you register with them, so they know where you live, how are they supposed to know? I just ordered from them Thursday. Trevor was real friendly on the phone and quick to respond to my PM's. Don't bash them over something so trivial... 
Damn, seeing how you react to something like this, without knowing for sure what their policy is, I sure as hell wouldn't want you as a customer. TSP has a solid reputation on this site, and always has. How about calling them when they are open and asking them in person before starting a thread like this to bash them?

What ????? I'm with Nine....Jason, Trevor and John have always been the most honest and helpfull folks. Those guys bust their butts everyday and provide excellent customer service!! I am positive that it was "not planned."

I don't know what you are smokin but I just ordered a Rumbler from them on monday online and there WAS NO TAX. Try registering an account with them and add it to the basket. There will be no tax if you live out of state. Either way I doubt TSP will care about loosing or actually never having a paranoid customer that is quick to judge and slander a company for no reason at all.

Nobody and I repeat nobody has better customer service. I have bought several things from them. I have also bought TSP parts used and called and talked to TSP about them. They DO NOT RUSH you off the phone. Heck althought its a TSP product I did not buy it from them. Yet the treat me as the customer who bought it. Have yet to find any sponsor to treat you like that. I cant think of anywhere that will sit and talk to you on the phone. TSP is the only sponsor IMO.........
Another satisfied TSP customer here. I have ordered most of my performance parts from TSP and have received excellent customer service. All of my questions were answered and I was always treated with respect. TSP rocks!!

Dude, that's just wrong to bash them without even trying to talk with them first. TSP has excellent customer service and Jason will go out of his way to make things right. Think before you start bashing someone.

That's a very poor way to handle a very simple over site or error. You should always give a place of business the opportunity to correct an error and to make sure it truly is an error on their part.

So quick to cast negative dispersions. Pull your head out of you *** before make invalid claims. That is the shopping cart default. Had you registered and followed through the order process you would have realized that instead of jumping on the forum to bash a sponsor. I have never beeen charged tax and have always had excellent customer service from them.
BTW, A nicer way would have been to post the question of why the shopping cart was charging tax and mention the possiblility of an online error, rather than callling them crooks (slander) You would have received nicer responses too.

First off, its their fault if they have poorly designed software.
Who else charges you tax by default when there are 49 other state
options and thus only a 98% chance you won't have to pay it.
Like I said, I not ordering and assuming anything. If that make me a
fool, an ***, or a tool(good word frat boy), then so be it.
I don't know if some of you are just out to kiss butt, like its getting you better
prices, but give me a break. Websites are like advertising flyers. If in your Sunday
paper you see an ad for something and the price is high, do you call the store and
double check it, do you go buy it assuming thats its just an error. I put it down and
look somewhere else. And to say you wouldn't want someone as a customer because
you have a site that add charges to peoples bill and they don't like it makes you a stupid businessman.
Bottomline, I'm really going to give my credit card number and finalize a deal hoping that they'll resolve it. Thats a real liberal way of looking at things. Blame the effect not the cause. What should be done is fix the problem not the problem, the problem created. That's called logic.

I guess you couldn't follow directions and register with them, so they would know WHERE YOU LIVE to calculate any tax charges. Have you ever given the thought by chance that it defaults to the tax charge when you don't register simply because most of their business is IN Texas? Hello, look at their NAME!

Speed Inc charged me tax and i don't live in their state...but honestly if it really bothered me i'm sure they would have refunded it, they're just that good....and I'm sure the same thing would apply to TSP whos customer service is top notch, just like most sponsors on this site.
