I'd like to start a new thread, to inform and educate fellow "Gearheads" about the saftey, benefits, enjoyment and all out performance quality of having your PCM Custom Tuned by NelsonPerformance. After doing all my modifications and work with my "handbuilt" custom exhaust, I had Allen @ NelsonPerformance tune my PCM to my very slightest needs and requests. Since installing it, and driving through my "PCM Re-learn" milage, my truck has settled into it's niche and now performs unlike anything I've driven with a Normally Aspirated, Non-Cammed, Non-Nitrous gas engine! I had him program a "dual octane" tune which runs 93 Octane, and will retard itself down when it senses the 89 Octane knock, which ensures me maximum performance on either fuel! I had him program a "medium" performance tune for normal daily driving, which has impressed me to no end! But the kicker is, I asked him to program a "maximum race" tune to the PCM which is only activated when I press my Tow/haul button, and is a WOT ignited program. The functionality of the multiple options I asked for, is great! And the program works perfect for me. Not to mention, when I install my Headers and Corvette Servo, I'll call Allen @ NelsonPerformance and tell him, and he will Custom Tune another PCM for my specific additions, and send to me for absolutely no cost! Because you get Lifetime Updates Free...when you purchase the Custom Tuned PCM. I work for a GM New Car Dealership & Service Shop, so I can say first hand, it wont be dected or you won't loose your warranty because of this!
