Aftermarket Spoiler guestion
I have purchased a aftermarket SS spoler for my Z28. First one only came with 2 bolts not 4. I sent that back and got one with 4 bolts. Althought it has 4 bolts only 1 of the 4 come through enough to be tightened down. The posts by the 3rd break light are a good 2 inches above the body on top of the trunk. The drivers side is not flush on the front bolt a bood 3/4 of an inch. I can understand having to sand some of that down to get a fit. But if I sand to far will it get past a point in the fiberglass that I would not be able to return it and still not fit? Second question should I just return it?

Well hope it’s not too late for you. My first try with a company was http://www.tbyrne.com/ls1catalog.htm. They had the spoiler for 269 painted and ready to go. Took them 2 weeks to tell me Wings West had gone out of business (so they said). Second try was with ASCD http://www.americansportscardesigns.com/ first and foremost they have outstanding customer service. First spoiler from them was minus bolts and didn’t fit. Second spoiler from them the bolts were to short and it didn’t fit. Again customer service was 100 % and got a complete refund in a few days after the second spoiler.
And now they company I got my spoiler from.

Cost less than it did from ASCD. Big plus is it comes painted and with the 3rd break light. Oh and it fit like factory. Customer service was good but not as good as ASCD. But 100 % satisfied with quality and fit. Spoilerdepot is who I would go with. I could not recommend ASCD spoilers to anyone. Maybe the hoods they make are better.

Cool and best of luck!!!!!! Spoiler Depot is the way to go. Couple of pictures for you. It was late and I just got it on. Tried to hurry up and wash it before the sun went down.

Have thought about the SS hood. But I really like the new VFN Sunoco cowl hood.
