Default GMR Speed

Did GMR Speed fall off the face of the earth??? Tried calling the phone number I have to their shop and it was disconnected. Just wondering if anyone knows if they are still in business

OMG I was getting ready to take a BIG deposit down there. I got caught once by APE. It's making me want to do all the modding myself. Time to hit the books

Default GMR Speed

Another guy from Michigan just PM'd me and said GMR Speed still has his cylinder heads for his car and he can't get a hold of them so it sounds like someone got screwed

I apologize for being so late on the post but really it is tough to say that GMR SPEED is closed. This really is just a case of personal interest on behalf of myself and my partner Rick. We have put in a lot of hours at the shop and really it is wearing a lot on our personal and family life and we both have decided that running the shop was no longer in our best personal interest.
I have no regrets in my decision to start the business, and really I must say that I have none with closing it, because we are for the right reasons and we are not leaving anybody in the dark and closing on good terms, this has not been the case with a lot of companies that have closed. We got to meet some awesome people, make some really good friends and build some awesome cars. We really just came to a point where the hobby we love so much was taking over our lives and we were no longer seeing the joy that this lifestyle has once brought us and you cannot put any dollar figure on that.

Not sure who you are, but we stopped taking deposits and work at the begining of Dec. all jobs were cleared out and taken care of before we closed, that is why we closed when we did because of the fact we were able to make sure all customers were taken care of.

I know who you are talking about, and if he reads this I ask that he PM me and I can get him squared away. Nobody got screwed, it was a confusing situation in the process of closing.

blown01Z, if you heard about this maybe you shouldn't try to tarnish GMRs name closed or not. Let Leo take care of it, have the guy contact him personally. It sucks to see someones name get tarnished by here say.

Hey man sorry to here that the shop closed. I talked to you about the TT408 set up. I just got my money together and I didn't know that you were not taking anymore orders. I was just thinging that everything was still good to go. Once again sorry for the closing of the shop and i must say that it's REAL GOOD to hear that you closed on good terms. Good luck with all that you do.
