Tim Olson/Smokin87TA (Sponsor) TB Scam??!! Sent my throttle body to Tim Olson on June 27th. He offered a one day turn around port job. I have sent him 4 emails which have not gotten response. I have called his voicemail which is full so it will not accept messages. I have sent him a PM but his mailbox is full there too and won't accept messages. I have gone as far as whitepages.com searched his next door neighbor to find out what's going on and she said she will talk to his mom to find out what is going on. I find it ridiculous that I have to search for a neighbor to help me out. Have I been scammed by the almighty famous throttle body porter? Anyone else know what's going on?

His username is Smokin87TA....I had my TB ported by him about a month ago and turn around time was exactly what he said it would be and the quality was top notch. It says he hasn't signed in since 6/28. I'm sure he's flooded with a million people wanting their throttle bodies done because of that sale he's running. I spoke with him before....he's a good guy, I highly doubt he's scamming you. Just give him some time I guess is all I can really say.

i just got ahold of a buddy of mine who is friends with tim, and he told me tims internet has been down and he can only got on seldomly, as for not returning calls, he said people are leaving him 3 and 4 voice mails so it gets full quick, so im sure youll be taken care of

Update Package was sent to the UPS store instead of to my house. Tim says that this happens on occasion by accident. I called the UPS store to confirm they had the package and in fact they do 
Tim was willing to overnight me a TB if I didn't receive it today. Can't wait to see the end product! Thanks againg for getting back to me Tim.

I bought a core TB to send to Tim to take advantage of his sale last month. He said he would port that TB, send it to me, then I could take the TB off my car and send it to him, and he'd refund a core charge to me. Well I got the ported unit back in a timely fashion and all, but I sent my stock tb back to him almost a month ago and have still not received a refund. I have tried to send PMs and emails with no replies. Good work, AWFUL customer service/communication.

not very impressed with the one he sold me. epoxy in the throttle plate,someone must of drilled it out, but still,i didnt get a unfucked plate from him.. and dug through and epoxyed in 2 spots.

if he did break his arm, i'm sorry to hear that....but do you think your friend knows what he plans on doing with these unfilled orders? Can't have money tied up forever, ya know? thanks

We tried the listed number first - it first went to "subscriber cannot be reached" to today which is hold music then voice mail.
I'd like to see a post from the Sponsor on this - he was sent email from Admin to respond on what was going on. Having a friend post for a sponsor isn't quite the same as the sponsor themselves posting up, even if they have their friend type it for them.
