I can give it up in about 3 weeks with stock LS4 injectors and rail. Make offer man.. You'll need Brians adapter, and modded valley tray which I can supply as well.

David I am just curious to what kind of power you are putting down currently? With the cam that was in that post, do you think that you could gain that much hp from a cam? If so that would be insane!!!!!!

I am thinking 300whp.
I have reworked heads, 1.8 rockers, LS1 intake, CAI, Custom 3" into Dual 2 1/2" exhaust, and tuning is pretty close.

This is what Pat G said about the LS1 car/

With what was said up above, I would think less.
So.. 330-350ish? (this would be setting the bar pretty high though..) I bet 330whp.

The only car that I can compare too would be Sittingmongoose, but his car was acting up on the Dyno and they did a 2nd gear pull. He made 320 something whp. (Low..)

Time will tell man...

Gotta remember.. Stock I put down 238 before tuning and 256 with just a downpipe and tuned.
If.. I can hit 330 then I'd be making about 75 more hp. This is petty reasonable IMOH.
Intake, cam, and exhaust.

Default horsepower prediction

Roger, from VHP, is predicting 80whp (NA) increase from my build.

Quick little update.. I ripped the motor apart on Friday and stabbed the cam in today. Lots of work involved. Best challenges was seperating the steering shaft, losening the balancer bolt, and getting the cradle to line back up to the body.
I ended up breaking a 15/16" socket before getting the balancer bolt lose. Had to use a breaker bar with my jack handle atached. Exhausting!
DOD cam is gone with the lifters. I'm also using my LS2 valley tray.

I've gotta make a trip to the machine shop tomorrow to see if they can remove two broken rocker bolts. I used some HD industrial strength red loctite and the S.O.B's didn't wanna budge..

Here are a few pics..
Pulled the body from the frame with my Cherry picker. Thanks for the idea Nate!

Motor shot

Cam out

Cam in.

Getting the cam gear back on anf lined up was a major PITA!

Car is back on the ground waiting for the heads

One of the broken bolts. Pretty pissed right now..

LS6 intake and LS2 tray.

Welding a nut on it works very well. It puts alot of heat into the bolt to help break it free and since the head is aluminum, no worries about welding the nut to the head. I use this method all the time on broken bolts and used is on one of my exhaust manifold bolts on the LS4.

You have to use heat on the red locktight. You'll should be able to smell it when heated to the right temperature. Drilling the right size into the bolt and using an easy out should work too.
