tranny cooler for gxp hey everyone, alright so i need a tranny cooler for my 07 gp gxp. my tranny fluid gets to 200 normal driving conditions and has go to about 263. im looking at getting a B&M racing cooler. i need help as to what size i should get or what brand is best. plus anything else i may need for install. thanks
The B&M cooler is good. Mgpeagle and I run the Imperial 11x11 stacked plate cooler (Well, Mike actually runs 2 of them), anyway, it's similar to the B&M cooler but costs less. I think the rating is 28000 lb GVWR. You should be able to search this site for the part #.
It took me 6 hours and major air-dam modification to get mine on how I wanted them. I bypassed the lines in the radiator and hooked them up directly to the transmission lines. It isn't too fun. I am glad I don't have to do it again.

I did mine very similar. This is a guy off of ClubGP I got this one from. He has one cooler and I have two. I just ran my lines underneath between the radiator and air-dam. I had to cut some of the air-dam but it is on the top side and cannot be seen from under the car. The air-dam is a complete PITA to come off. Mine came out stock looking, which is what I wanted.

I used the same one from Advanced (11x11) bar in plate cooler. Biggest one you can fit LOL i tried all the ones they carry instock. Mine is spliced in after the radiator cooler. I took the front bumper cover off when i did mine and ran the lines through a hole behind the drivers headlight. I have yet to hit 200* since and that is highway, light city, and aggressive (stop light launches, playing around on the street) in 100* weather. 217 used to be normal temp, now its around 180
