step one is to check connections are plugged all the way in. If the PCM is not connected, you are dead in the water, next is to check fuses, if you disconnected the battery (which is probably step one in the installation instructions for whatever intake you bought), you might have arc'd it and blown a fuse. That will probably get you all fixed up.

I put on a cold air intake. I disconnected the bat. then i installed the cold air intake. it required me to mount it off a bolt. but the Start cycloid was in the way. The red wire. So i took it off. then i went and put the wire back on and it arced, seem the Positive bat wire came loose and fell back on the bat terminal. So im guessing i Blow a fuse but i'm not sure what one. any ideas. I also put on a new gas peddle. No sure if this would be a kill switch do to me pulling it off when i thought the battery power was taken off. Any help will help? The car is a paper weight as of right now.

I recall seeing a thread over on the HPT site (I think) that indicated that you can't (shouldn't) mount the ECM directly to the frame/body, i.e.the case should not be grounded. If you eliminated the bottom of the stock airbox, try isolating the ECM from chassis ground.

Back in the day they built the fuse into the wire. I haven't had to replace one since I was 17 so IDK if they still use fusible links? And with out a volt meter to check where you have voltage, wouldn't know where to look? I would think it would be the main battery wire.
