1st problem there's a cricket like sound coming from the vents, I know its the vents cuz wen I shut off the heat it stops.

Problem 2 my left side heated seat light isn't workin or the red arrow to adjust the heat?! It pistes me off and suggestions?

Dunno about the vents, but our console lights are very prone to going out, I have a few out on mine, yours are just more irritating since they tell if the seat is on or not. The seat does still work, doesn't it? Also, Edit button.

I know I've seen this before on this site. If I can do a search and find it, it shouldn't be too hard for others: https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-front...trol-unit.html

LOL good call.
mine also makes this noise. i cant hear it with the radio on unless in trying to and it only makes the noise when the heat is on. mine sounds like its coming from under the hood. i havent searched for it cause i havent had time, and its not loud enough to hear with the radio on.

Okay let me say it more clearl... The actual button that shows the seat on it does not light up nor does the red temp arrow, but the 2 red dots still light up when I turn my seat on. And I checked under the hood for the sound and its not there it has to be something with the venting

could it be the fuse for the heated seats? located on the pass. side of the dash? the last few months of having the GTP the lights would come on but seat didnt heat up. i figured it was just the fuse but never checked it out. if i remember correctly it is like a 15 or 20 maybe?

The last 2 sound like a fuse. Chris' issue is the shoddy LEDs, I have the same ones out and the seat works fine.

Exactly, which validates my previous post.

I also believe they're bulbs and not LEDs. Either way they need to be replaced, lol.

If anyone's still under bumper-to-bumper or GMPP extended warranty, they will replace the entire unit.

Oh my, lol.

Btw, the rear window switch lights don't exist.

That's going to be another one of my mods, along with a lighted sunroof switch.
