I am waitng on my PI converter. It's a 3000-3200 stall and costs about 800.00
My Transmission will be getting re-done once the converter gets here with a 300 input shaft, 3.69's, extra steel in the 2nd clutch and 3rd gear z-pack. Valve body solenoids will be replaced and valves/springs/sleeves will be replaced with sonnax booster kits. Rebuild kit came with trans-tech gasket and seal kit which use's improved seals and related stuff.
Everyting costs about 2300 shipped and will be about 1000 to rebuild with the parts listed above.
Contact Dave for parts.
The Engine parts you wanna use will be a clone of my build, so.. yes, you'll be in the 12's or better with a 1.9 or better launch. MPH will be around 114 or so.

Stock converter is like 2800 stall already.
Do a search of the trans threads and you'll learn that power and heat are not the primary killers of our transmissions. It's problems with the design and engineering.
On this topic, DavidGXP and I will agree to disagree. Shift kit and cooler are good insurance, but they do nothing to prevent our failures.
For the amount of power that you're going to be making, however, I would expect that even if your trans didn't have any flaws (known or unknown), it still won't last long.
If I were you, I would take DavidGXP's advice and call TEP.

I just might do the trans overhaul myself so stay tunned. I've got the space and manuals, I just need to order a few tools.
Seatac trans is right down the street so I might take a few sub assemblies in for service. Plus they supply all parts to local transmissin shops, so I'm sure that I will be hitting up their warehouse for a few things here and there. I have done a few TH-350's
Since my trans is still good, I shouldn't have to worry about too many extreamly worn items. This is something you might wanna consider too. Much cheaper too upgrade a working transmission then to fix and upgrade a broken one.
By doing the work myself I will know what has been done and learn about it's current condition. Something that I will take my time on.
