slight shutter/rpm jump when slowing down. Sometimes I will hit the brake and when I'm almost at stop, the rpms will jump between 400 and about 900 rpm. I also feel a mild vibration. I highly doubt its the brakes because it only does this at low rpms. Any ideas what this can be? Thanks.

yeah, sounds like the DOD issue...
easy way to tell.. drive your car in 3 instead of D, so that the DOD doesn't activate, and then see if it still has that issue...

Our cars weren't afflicted with the dreaded piston slap, but we do have lifters ticking.
I had a 2000 Z28 with the "slap" and it sounded like a diesel truck when you went through the drive-through or were next to a wall.
