I was just crusing around after filling up ($80!!!) and ran into this mustang we raced a few times and I got the last one on video....It was a stick and sounded like he had an exhaust.

I always have to chuckle inside we I see people cruising around and revving up the engine of their 2v 4.6 Mustang GT and think, "If they only knew..." Those cars were slow in their time, and are far slower today.

God, I feel so bad for you! How many gallons is your tank? Mine is 16.9, usually end up putting 12-14 gallons in for $45-$55, $3.88 a gallon for premium.

I had a stock 4.6 gt with an exhaust and 5speed, and threw it up on the dyno( perks one having one at work lol), car made 204hp at the wheels, lol so slow.

I was dead empty with a 19.1 gallon tank and gas was $4.19 premium. luckly the price has dropped .30 cents.
Ive always liked mustangs if i were to ever get a coupe "sports car" I would get a foxbody-98 cobra. If talking about new school i would get the new 5.0.

Thats crazy and only to think gas is supposed to be rising again. I would love to see premium gas go back to about $2.50. I've always liked mustangs too. To me they have to have the best sounding exhausts out of any car with a v8. But as far as the owners, every one that I've come across except two of them, were complete *********.

Does it feel that slow when driving around in it? Only good thing about those cars is they look alright and sound amazing.

I remember driving around when I was 17 looking for gas under $2.00!! and that was 6 years ago!!! I feel like the yellow guy everytime i pull into a gas station haha

one of the loudest cars ive ever heard is my cousins 2001 mustang GT its got custom headers, cat delete, slp exhaust with a X pipe which sounds amazing but when he opens the cutout right after the headers I think I got a couple vids of us racing on my youtube account.

Idk what it is but I can hear a mustang a mile away unlike any other car. But then again I know a ls motor especially when it's WOT

It did few that slow lol, I also had a 93lx with a hci combo only made 296hp and 349tq but was super light.

yeah those 02 stangs are slow, had one a few months ago that was a convertible with pipes try and run me, i made him my bitch though

I wouldn't say the 02 mustang is slow. My buddy with Hand held tuner, LTs, X Pipe, CAI, Plenum, TB, Slicks and skinnies went 12.82.
