06 Monte Carlo - Rear Speaker Adapter? I have a 2006 Monte Carlo SS with AMP under the rear shelf.
I ordered front & rear speakers and have seen the adapters for the front 2-wire connectors, but is there an adapter available for the rear 4-wire speaker connectors?
I also have a 4-channel Alpine amp that I would install if I had an idea of how to bypass the factory amp without running new speaker wires or changing the head unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Looking to keep the factory head unit, but replace the speakers and bypass the amp so I can use my own 4-channel amp.
I just ordered this to convert the factory signals to clean, separate pre-amp outputs:

Sweet...Thank you Sir! That is exactly what I needed (but are you sure those are low level?). Now I can splice in the LC6i and add my amp & speakers...and as long as I'm doing this, I might as well add my sub box with two Rockford 12" and other alpine amp to drive them

It's not that, it's the rear speakers and the amp. I believe the Monsoon amp is 2ohm so you need 2ohm 6x9s to replace your stock ones with and those aren't the easiest to find iirc. I ran aftermarket 6x9s for almost a year on my stock head unit before I upgraded to my DNX9990HD.

I have not measured the voltage on the input side.
I read the instructions for the LC6i, and the way that I understand it, if it doesn't work on the input side due to voltage (low) issues, you could pick up the signal on the output side of the factory amp.

So, this factory setup is not unlike a typical system (4 ohm front, 4 ohm rear + 2 ohm sub), they just have it wired so you can't simply do a plug & play setup.
I was trying to keep the install as simple as possible, but since I already have 2 Alpine amps and 2 Rockford 12"s in a box, I am going to do the full deal with new wires and all. I just wanted to keep the factory HU to keep the inside looking 100% factory...plus it does everything I need it to for now.
One more question - would you mount the 2 amps & LC6i on the sub box or on one of the fold down seatbacks for easy access to adjustments?

The premium amplifier mounted in the trunk of a Monte Carlo SS/ Impala SS is basically a multi-channel amplifier, with individual channels for low and high-frequencies running out to the speakers. Crossover duties are handled inside the amplifier, not outboard at the speaker. Any aftermarket speaker that can be bi-amplified can be used with our wiring and amplifier configuration.
Mounting the LC6i and amplifiers to the enclosure would be fine IMO.
