Default DOD Delete Question

Hey everyone, So I have been doing some research and my DOD has been acting funny anyway. So I think I'm going to go ahead and get rid of DOD. I found a few posts on here but nothing really quite answered all my questions. I was wondering what all I need in order to get rid of DOD. I know you can just tune it out. But I want to make it so I can put in any different kind of cam rather then having to have something that works with DOD. I saw there were some kit's out there. I'm just not sure what I need for my car. I have an 06' Monte Carlo SS. Any help would be much appreciated.

i am supposed to be wanting to get rid of my GXP...but i find myself looking at LS2 & LS6 intakes, lifters, valley covers, cams, trickflow heads, headers, etc.

It always starts at "getting rid of DOD"...problem is once you get rid of DOD you want to get rid of everything else too

Haha yea, I'm already in that situation. Hey if I'm working on my engine I might as well just do everything now so I don't have to later

They seal off the oil towers to keep oil from being sprayed everywhere underneath the valley cover
