Makes me wonder though I have remote mount turbo oil pumps I would wonder if I can just delete the pump all together and move the resovoir where my battery was..

Seems like the electric option is really the true alternative

Making the pwm controller is the only hump in the road

busy weekend ahead, gonna be doing the rest of the stuff i found worn out and hopefully installing the trans cooler this weekend, gotta see if i have the right fittings. Throwing on a set of mevotech supreme control arms, moog spherical CAB's, end links, and a new set of front brake pads since im hitting the wear sensors on all of them. I do need rotors, but budgeting myself right now, rotors are still within spec, just getting close to needing replacement.

heres the moog spherical CAB's pressed into the new control arms, and compared against the old style

here you can see how remanufactured arms reuse the old cages, two different style of CAB cage on both arms. Doesnt me they are bad, just not held to any sort of precision standard, even on the OEM parts. Ill be throwing these up for sale as they are perfectly fine for anyone who wants to replace CAB's with oem style.

depends on which style end link it uses, the control arms dont have a mount for the end links because the 20mm bar the GXP comes with mounts from the sway bar to the strut. That's what the two red boxes are, new end links.

Yea, I've seen them both. I will be using the ones with the end link mounts so I can use the bigger sway bar. Post the part numbers you used for the control arms. Most of the part numbers I have seen shows they have them anyway like they all use the same one now.

MEVOTECH CMS501062
MEVOTECH CMS501061

MOOG K200787 for the spherical control arm bushings, they would work on any of the arms.

You want CMS20329 and CMS20328 if you want the one designed for the 24mm bar. That would require the other style end link too.

Thanks. I grabbed the end links and bushings for the bar already, but hoping to find a big swaybar in the junkyard and do the control arms all at once. I will also replace the bushings with the spherical ones also, they look much better than the factory ones.

spherical cab's are supposedly supposed to reduce wheel hop by preventing the rubber bushing from moving in ways it shouldnt. Not to mention the fact that they last twice as long because they are a ball joint design. They were really popular on the cobalt's as a performance application and one of powell performances biggest sellers for SCCA racers. So it should be a noticeable improvement in the way the car handles, considering the fact that my CAB's are split and cracked now as it is.

Just order the Dorman sway bar it's 34mm and regardless any 97-03 wbody control arms will work that dumb 24mm catalog note is irrelevant

The sphericals for sure, not too sure what control arms I will get. The Moog ball joints are supposed to be a little better, I have to do more research before I buy anything, I just know I need the ones with the tab. wont be any ****** Dorman that's for sure lol.

I was referring to the control arms, but I don't like Dorman products at all anyway. Not sure why your GMPP bar busted that fast , but I have to believe there was something wrong with it or it was used. Adding a bigger bar is already adding more weight also, not sure how much difference but the hollow bar is more to my liking. Dorman measures their bar at 33mm, not sure if that is accurate as well but the GMPP bar is said to be 34mm.. Most likely I will purchase a brand new bar to avoid any rust issues anyway. Thanks for the input, its appreciated.

That Dorman Ls6 intake is a replacement intake just like the swaybar is a replacement swaybar. In my opinion their quality is not as good as factory. Don't act like I'm the only snob on here that wouldn't use that crap . I can bet my life you wouldn't either lol.

I have done the research, I just don't agree Dorman is superior to anything. Not arguing with you, just won't use their products on my car that's all. If it works for you, its all good.

I have had good luck with brand name parts , used a couple of the Autozone brand Duralast parts that failed in the past(coil, control module, brake pad fell apart). I would rather pay a little more then to have to repeat the job.

I was talking specifically sway bar here though. Intake manifolds are pretty good no issues there
