Is that the charcoal one and if so and how long does the smell last?

Or keep out the smells.

Well I picked up one for 37 bucks on eBay. This was only the second time I have replaced this since 2008 so it was due. For anyone who will be keeping their car or resides in an overly dusty area it could be worth the extra.

Yeah... did the FRAM and more than adequate for the money. I have stinky dogs and love cigars... my car never stinks of anything but clean car. Save your money and go to Wally World (WalMart) and get the fram for like 11.84?

I did mine a while back, but I noticed that the shrowd or whatever you call it the plastic piece, doesn't sit flush with the wind shield and there is a little rise in it right where the cabin filter is. I can push it down and can see the tab that looks like it should grab but after a few minutes it just pops back up. Is there a way I can get the thing to actually seat right or am I buying a new shrowd?

They litterally all do that, the material GM makes them out of is absolute ****. I havent seen a single one that hasnt warped with a couple months of sunlight beating on it.
