Are you sure that passage for the DOD oiling wasn't preserved with the Katech adapter? If you look at the pictures, it sure looks like its a good possibility:

Instead of a TB adapter anyone think about the 3bolt Drive-by-wire TB (i think its vortec off a truck)?

I'm thinking about doing this but i have to figure out teh cost effective ness. Just might have my stock manifold ported.
