The info below is for all MC's prodced.
They did not have breakdown info on the different trims produced.
The info came from a GM Rep that was contacted by a fella from another forum.
The email was from 7/16/07
Production of the Monte ended on June 19 2007.
Rare maybe but they still dont hold their resale value for ****.
07 10,889 Monte Carlo's
06 32,567
05 9,104
04 57,820
03 71,173
02 73,067

btw, i just picked my 06, up for $19,000 with 13,500 miles. dealer gave me $13,000 (payoff) for my 04 gto with 45,000 miles (gto needed little bodywork). this is about one of the cheapest i've seen in miami.

lazer blue, I had the goat for three years and just grew out of it. test drove the monte and loved the car's look, spacious interior and pretty quick accelaration. it feels faster than the gto, even though the gto will probably win in the top end. the fwd / rwd issue does not really bother me as I am not a drag racer, I just like everyday driving performance.

Did anyone ever find any stats on how many SS Monte's were made each year??
They only made 43K over the two years for all 3 trim levels.....I gotta believe the 3.5 and 3.9 sold far more than the SS's.

i got 07 precision red ss
i was week too late on getting one ordered in which i wanted the blue with the silver trim, had my dealer do a dealer trade for the monte i wanted on the inside(options) more so than the color(as long as it wasnt white, but ive seen a white ss nice and clean driving about and it does look better than i woulda thought for a white car)
so we looking at like 43k made and maybe even if we say 1/3 ss thats still around 10k made in the whole u.s. thats nice low number if u ask me.. yea maybe not great resale probally cause of gas prices with it being a v8 and not much fan support for front wheel drive but hey its a monte and thats all that matters..give us 5 to 10 yrs and our monte's will still turn heads like mine does now.. still wish they kept the monte on the grill thou i mean a vette aint a vette without the vette on the hood( well yea and no but u get the idea)
